Here’s a really quaint little English wedding for you. Grace and Daniel travelled all the way to Grace’s hometown for their Suffolk wedding. You may remember these two from their engagement shoot, in Taranaki before they moved back to the UK.
Grace’s mum is a seamstress and made the awesome bridesmaid dresses as well as Grace’s stunning lace wedding dress. Oh and of course her own dress! Grace’s Dad even hoisted a kiwi flag on the top of the church, as a surprise for the 20+ guests that flew from NZ.
I really love the down to earth vibe of Grace and Daniel’s wedding day. It was simple and relaxed, with the wedding reception held at a little English hall. Grace used all local vendors and all the kiwis loved the typical English food and beverages.
We took the bridal party photos in an epic barley field and the farmer even came down for a friendly chat, even though we didn’t ask for permission! He was so stoked that we were using his field! Once we arrived back to the Village hall for the reception, after dinner the lads decided to have an impromptu football game, suits and all!
Thanks for having me as your photographer guys, it was an honour to share it with you both!
